Avid followers of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are still recuperating from the devastating breakup of the former A-list South Korean couple. Many of them did not expect that Joong Ki and Hye Kyo's marriage would end up in a divorce. Hence, most fans of the Descendants of the Sun stars were shocked after learning about the split.

Now that the divorce had been finalized already, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are starting to move on from each other. Though the actress previously revealed that she would not be working on a television or movie project until the end of the year to focus more on herself, Hye Kyo had been very visible in public lately. In fact, she was sighted in Cannes, France last week.

Song Hye Kyo was spotted having some fun with her friends in the city located on the French Riviera. Snaps of Song Joong Ki's former wife in Cannes surfaced online on Monday, Aug. 19. The 37-year-old actress was even seen visiting a French market.

Reports have it that Song Hye Kyo dropped by France after she participated in the "Chaumet in Majesty, Jewels of Sovereigns Since 1789 Exhibition" in Monaco in July. During the said event, the former ladylove of Song Joong Ki was even photographed with Hollywood actress Natalie Portman and supermodel Natalia Vodianova.

While Song Hye Kyo is busy with her endorsements, there have been reports saying that Song Joong Ki's career was badly hurt because of their divorce. Speculations are rife that advertisers are, now, ignoring the 33-year-old Sungkyunkwan Scandal star. Other even suggested that the ratings of his current television series called Arthdal Chronicles had been significantly low.

Despite this, recent reports revealed that the tvN series would be back for its third installment on September 7. The upcoming new season is said to include the show's finale episode after fans were left hanging in early July. For starters, Arthdal Chronicles centers on the story of Eunseom (Song Joong Ki) and his struggles to bring his tribe back to life. The character of Song Hye Kyo's ex-husband, also, learned his true origins in the process.

Aside from Joong Ki, other cast members include Jang Dong Gun, Kim Ji Won, Kim Ok Vin, Kim Eui Sung, Park Hae Joon, Park Byung Eun, Park Hyoung Soo, Choi Young Joon, Lee Ho Cheol, Hwang Hee, Ki Do Hoon, Song Yoo Taek, and Lee Hwang Eui, among others.
